Happppppy Sunday! It’s another CAS day here on my blog….or a SVCAS day, lol! This was one of my compilations from attempts at this week’s video produced over at May Arts with the Our Craft Lounge goodies. This one didn’t work for that project since it didn’t have any of the Sparkly Fluff on it…but I like it a lot!

The ribbon treatment is super simple – some May Arts wrinkle ribbon crisscrossed on the card – and a simple brad poked through. The embossed chevron looks great on red too, don’t you think?

really nice! like the ribbon treatment and definitely will be borrowing that technique! Question: CAS = Clean and Simple. But what’s “SVCAS” (I’m sure I’ll hit my head and go “duh” when I read the answer here!
“Sandy’s version of CAS” – a little less CAS than for-real-CAS
I really love this card. It is beautiful. You can feel the love wanting to reach out and hug someone
Love the embossing repeated on two colors of cs!
It looks awesome. Really love the embossing and ribbon embelli.
I like this one better. It is so striking with the red and black.
Love the embossing. The crossed ribbon adds the perfect touch. You are on a roll with these CAS cards!
I tried a SVCAS on a CAS challenge site and was told it did not qualify as CAS. So, I am back to the really basic CAS cards for now.
LOL! I never promised SVCAS would get you anywhere….but I know for me, it’s too hard most of the time to do REAL CAS.
I’m really liking the clear embossing and the sheen it adds – so very cool! Makes me want to give embossing another try. Thank you for sharing this.
Sandy- love the embossed chevron in two colors. Great idea to repeat that “element” on the card. Brings extra attention instead of just one time. Great card. and I love SVCAS
I love this card, Sandy!
