I was so excited recently to see that Penny Black has some of Mo’s images in real live red rubber! It takes a lot for me to use digis lately, just because I’ve discovered I just really like the look of stamping, rather than printing; the image has to be *really* special to get me to use a digi nowadays. Mo can get me to do it because I just love her drawings, but I’m superstoked to start snagging a few in rubber!
There’s only one drawback….they made this one HUGE! lol. From the tips of the image, it just barely fits on an A2…so I indulged in an oversized square card. It’s for my own Christmas card stash, so I’ll just pay the extra to mail it.

I had a major couple issues with this card as I went….so this is true confession time! lol. My pearl pen got weird on me; I tried doing dots on her hairband, but it was all runny….so I ended up blooping it on and hoping it would come out like Glossy Accents. I figured I’d try to use up what I could of the pearl pen (assuming it was about dead) by covering the ornament too. Well….midway through covering it with the pearl pen, the pearlized “color” started coming out again! Agh! So I let it dry and waited to see what came out. Not too bad, considering – it looks bloopy in the pic, but in reality it’s smooth – the bloopiness is the pearlized color.
The fussycutting was way over the top…I wanted to make “room” to see some patterned paper and decided to cut it out but – ohh man. I’m just not good at it! I lost all kinds of stray flowing ribbon bits and hairs. Ah well. I’m sure whoever on my Christmas list gets this one won’t know the difference – few of them would have the stamp, I’m sure! LOL!

Wow, how did you know I was just wondering today
if you liked ‘real’ stamps or digis better and why????
The ornament looks like a real metal shiny one~Awesome!
This is beautiful. I only wish I could assume the position of this angelic little girl. I have taken several Copic classes but I am not that good at coloring. Beautiful!!
It may have been a mistake, but I really LIKE the way the ornament turned out!
Another SUPER card. I love it. I’ve struggled with digis too. I chalk it up to the fact I lack some of the tech genes, but I’m getting better.
And I have a small stamp that has a dancing lady on it, only she is a bit heftier and older, that I might be able to adapt for Christmas. You give me such good ideas.
Awesome! Love how the ornament turned out.
It turned out good for the “mishap”! I still am in awe of your fussy cutting skills!
