Fearfully, wonderfully made. That’s me.
God’s made me for a purpose, with skills I never knew would be leveraged in the ways He planned. But as I look back over my life, I can see His hand everywhere! When I was young, the dream was planted in my heart to teach art…and though I steered toward graphic design (since I knew art teachers didn’t make much of an income!), it seems that through papercrafting, I’ve begun to step into realizing that dream!
People call me the energizer bunny of crafting… Juggling a long to-do list seems to motivate me to squeeze more life out of every moment…my pets keep me company, my garden distracts me, and making *some*thing every day keeps me sane.
I’m nearing half a century, and feel like I’m just now getting my ‘feet’ under me. I’ve been a crafter for as long as I can remember; childhood was filled with popsicle sticks, markers, gluesticks, and more, and some days I feel I’ve never quite left that frantic creative streak behind!
Things around me are changing in some big ways – and I’m not even sure what some of those are at this point! However, it’s feeling like I’m on the brink of some changes, and I’m excited about that. This revamped blog is one of those changes; I’m hoping to find a way to work fulltime in the craft industry…so I’m waiting to see what God’s got in mind.
You’re a nut…and not “just nuts about Hero Arts” like in your sidebar right next to me as I type this! LOL!
YOU DO NOT “just take and take and take” missy – you give and give and give! You have such an incredible heart for giving and caring for people. You absolutely show everyone you come in contact with the love that God has placed in you through His Holy Spirit.
