If your kids are anything like me when I was a kid – bookmarks make reading more FUN! And with a magnetized bookmark, the fun is amped up even more!
Magnetized Bookmark – with Clean Color Pens
The idea behind these bookmarks isn’t mine – I made these in a ministry eons ago, and thought of them when looking at that long strip of scrap left over when I trimmed down my 9×12 watercolor papers! I use lots of those scraps for color swatches, technique testing, etc – but I folded one in half and it reminded me of the bookmarks! Since it’s summer and kids need encouragement to read, maybe this is a little project you’ll want to do, too. The kids can even paint their own! Sketches & Colors
Since we now have a bunch of small images on strips, what to do with them…..? I figured I’d share some CAS Sketches! The color panels on some of these were made by using other scraps of watercolor paper, and using the same Clean Color Pens on them so they’d be all matchy matchy! Below the sketches are pics of the pieces I colored – and in the captions the colors are listed.
