Liquid Metal Petals

A number of you asked about the metallics – here you go!

Liquid Metal Petals

The video for today is super short – travel season is coming and I wanted to get this one out quick! I’ll be teaching with the Liquid Metals and Colorburst, so I figured it’s a perfect time to get this out there to those who can’t be there. (This is NOT what is being taught in class, but you can sorta play along with your own project!) Watch the video below or click HERE to see it in HD on YouTube.

There’s a video coming soon with a painting created using these metals with a little Colorburst – I was disappointed there was no shimmer left at all in the painting. Bummer! So if you find you’re not getting this much shine, just use less of other products. Or put drops of this on top of whatever you’ve already got going on.

  1. I always enjoy seeing how new products (to me) work. TFS

  2. Question…I know you did a periscope during your Pebeo paint class at CHA but I can’t find it. My question is, do I need to clear gesso my Bible pages BEFORE using Pebeo paints? Thanks for your answer and can I just tell you…I LOVE all the inspiration you give to us!!!!! God Bless!!!

  3. What a great creative card! Love those metals!! They weren’t on my radar before, but now they are! Thanks! Happy belated birthday! Hope it was a joyous day for you. 🙂

  4. loved your card but I have to tell you Ken does have lamp black and burnt umber in Colorburst. They just aren’t in the sets. He does advise shaking the metals well and mine don’t seem as watery. I love the colors and will have to try a version of your card to see all of them in one place. Still wish you were coming to the Nashville area as well as Knoxville.

  5. Sandy… You are such an enabler! Looks like fun.

  6. Very pretty Sandy, I haven’t eard of the Shimmer Metals before. Sounds wonderful!
