This week I’m busy getting kits ready for my cardmaking party on Saturday….so I’m treating you to an extra post today
This first kit seemed perfectly appropriate to share on Father’s Day…

The image is by Mo Manning – and I already colored them with Copics, so as not to scare the party attendees! Colors: YR23 and Y21 for the hair; B21 for her dress; E53 and E51 for fleshtones, E33 E43 YG91 Y28 and W1 for the Dad’s clothing. Everything is cut and ready, and each envelope has the bits for the card in it; the holes need to be punched for the brads, and a knot tied in the ribbon before it’s adhered. Even the sentiment is already stamped…easy peasy!
Come back all week to see a few of the kits I’m taking to the party on Saturday

Fantastic card! Very appropriate for today, Father’s Day. Love the image and the papers.

What a sweet card. Any Dad would be pleased to receive it. It makes me think of my Dad and I. Thanks for sharing.
A beautiful card Sandy, reminds me of my dad and me going for a walk. I also miss my dad he has been gone for 24 years but there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about him. Sure wished i could come to your card party, but i live in Minnesota so i will have to enjoy the cards on your blog. Thanks
In the card class I attend each month we have to color our own pictures! This image is so sweet. I love the way the knot gives interest to the card but doesn’t involve a bow that might give your card-makers a problem. Great idea.
Love this card and a great kit. Allot of cardmaker’s get started with kits like this, so beware. Or maybe that would be a good thing for OWH, LOL. Go for it and have fun.
