I hope a hero gets a kick out of sending this to his sweetie during the halloween season. It was sure a hoot to make! (And it went out a while back…but I saved it to share during SRM week!)
I made this while messing around with HallNOween cards – and what a goofy thing it was! I used the Stampin Up owl punch and gave him lil fangs and a red cape – hahaha!
The border die cut is one that a crafter sent me…It’s uber-detailed, and was quite a challenge to adhere to the card. I ended up using Tombow mono liquid glue on the back of a bunch of the little bits. I had tried a bunch of different adhesives (including ones that said they didn’t leave bits on the front – they all ended up sticky on the front. Fortunately I had a couple diecuts to play with and try things out!) But the liquid did work finally. And I filled a few of the large hearts with black pearl pen.
The sentiment was broken up so that I could add the “Love” to the heart.

Clever idea. Love how you split up the sentiment with the heart. That’s an idea I’ll be “borrowing”! LOL And the cape and fangs on the owl are adorable.
