A little patriotica for Independence Day…you knew it was coming!

Home of the Free ft Copic airbrush

This card evolved as I worked through it – and I recommend seeing a card through to the end in case you end up with a cool rescue! This one uses stamps I just bought from Reverse Confetti in their recent release. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it in HD on YouTube.

This card ended up being the birthday card (with Happy Birthday stamped inside) for an elderly veteran in my Toastmasters club. He is SO proud of his service, and we’re proud of him!Sandy Allnock Home of the Free

  7. Your work is always great, but this card is stunning. And, I think this is extra special because I know how patriotic and supportive you are of our military. Happy Fourth and thank you for your continued support of our troops. PS, I still miss OWH but I am glad it was a mission fulfilled.

  8. Thank you Sandy! I have a son in the military and this will be a great set of stamps to use when sending cards to him and friends.

  9. You must have read my mind! I was just thinking that the airbrush was a forgotten tool! I’m so happy to see you use it!

  10. Wow. I’m constantly amazed at your expertise in so many things, but especially in building dimension. I too thought the stars were embossed!

  12. I totally agree with Gale, above! I actually thought you’d embossed some of the stars in silver, when I first saw your card – you did an amazing job, as always! Thanks for the 4th of July gift!!!
