I’ve got a pretty crazy fun card for you today! These two fun little monkeys are just a blast – and they are ready to parrrrrrtay!
I stamped the monkeys twice, popping the monkey in front….the dimension as well as the difference in color helps differentiate the two of them. The striped paper is by American Crafts, and I paired it with some embossed yellow cardstock; the simplicity of pattern and tone-on-tone stripes lets the focus stay on the monkeys, the nesties, and the embellishment. The snippet of ribbon is lightly threaded through the loop, adding no extra bulk!
I also love using metal embellishments on cards! This star was from a packet of metal sentiments I picked up while in Puerto Rico on the cruise. Though I do recall seeing them recently at an LSS so I know they’re available – but I cut the package apart, so I’m not sure who makes them!
