Hero Holiday Week: Wintry Clocks

Posted on Aug 7, 2012 | 4 comments

Today’s is probably the least like a holiday card – but it has snow hearts and clocks falling from the sky, and blue and white colors – so I’m calling it wintry :) The top layer, the stamped one, is popped.

The inking is all embossed – simple white embossing, and a little dimension too, just to keep it interesting. The May Arts ribbon is layered – chevron (striped twill) on top of a wide satin.

  1. I love, love, love the tone on tone color with the paper & ribbon!
The ribbon layers are very pretty.
Blue & White seem wintery to me too.

I have been afraid to do any embossing; I’m afraid
there would be traces of glitter hiding somewhere.

    Beautiful Card ~*

  2. Love the colors – and this can be used for so many themes!

  3. Oh Sandy, this is so pretty. The embossing, the ribbon, the colors – everything. Makes me want to get my embossing powders out again and give them another try. Thank you for sharing this.

  4. I love it! The embossing and ribbon really make it nice!
