BOO!
There’s a snowman outside!

I’m still recovering from yesterday’s excitement. Oh my GOSH. When Hero Arts asked me to do a video – and then said they wanted it on their channel – I thought my head was going to explode! I designed and re-designed that card SO many times trying to get it just right…yikes, the pressure!
Today’s card – is very very simple! I love my little window die, and I love that you can make it either look in from outside, or look out from inside. I thought the snowman would be fun to have peeking through – like Frosty, who knows that going in will make him melt, but he just can’t help but peek in!
The sentiment is stamped in what is now one of my go-to chalk inks! I used to have a bunch of Colorbox chalk ink pads- though I didn’t use them much since I mostly stamp in black and color in with Copics. But I had kept them around – and recently noticed the surfaces of the pads were degrading! It’s not that they’re bad ink pads, I’ve had some of them about 10 years and reinked them to death. But one even collapsed in the middle like a bad loaf of bread! Anyway- all that to say I ordered a bunch of Hero Arts chalk inks, and am now finding I want the whole set. They stamp a lot cleaner than any of the ones I had in the past – and I’m starting to find myself wanting to stamp in color a little now!
A note about the dimension on this window: there’s a little bit of the Precious underneath a few parts of the window, to make the snowman look a little further back – rather than with his lil nose pressed on the glass ![]()

And I’m also using this for my Thursday AnyHero card, even though it’s going in the regular winter section…but it’s red white and blue, so I’m giving it grace to be a Thursday card
Tonight’s going to be masculine card night on the OWHtv card shares. Stop in to see if I succeed in making a hot air balloon that can be sent to a dude! And watch live this week, there will be live giveaways during the show – so you’ll want to be there and signed into Google so you can comment and WIN!
And….stay tuned for more mindblowing stuff going on tomorrow….not sure my lil heart can handle all this!

Great card Sandy! I love it!
Cute Card! Congrats on being asked to do a video for Hero Arts, they know good work when they see it. And thanks for the reminder about their great chalk inks.
Cute card. I like how you have the snowman looking out the window. Congrats on the video for May Arts. They know you do great work. Wish I could join tonight but we are @ disneyland and will be a bit busy
