TGIF! Hasn’t this been a FUN week with SRM? Today on the S&S blog, they’ve shared some Stickers by the Dozen cards…so I decided to try a set of them too!
And I also wanted to see if I could do 12 cards with ONE 12×12 sheet of 2-sided October Afternoon paper- and this little design did that perfectly. I cut 4 strips of 2″, then cut them in 1/3s (4″)…..and the remaining strips were 1″ x 4″. No scrappies left over! Whee! 3 sheets of the red cardstock cut into quarters also left no scraps. The Scrap Wrangler would be proud!
I layered the stickers on cream, since these patterns are far too busy for the lettering to show up; the patterns have to really be the right kind to work well with a sentiment directly on them.
Easypeasy, 12 birthday cards! And while I’m here talking birthday….I actually can use some now. You all did a great job of dialing back on birthday, but now I’m drowning in the general cards and need more of other themes to go with them. Yeah, it’s a constant push-pull around here!
