TGIF! Hasn’t this been a FUN week with SRM? Today on the S&S blog, they’ve shared some Stickers by the Dozen cards…so I decided to try a set of them too!

And I also wanted to see if I could do 12 cards with ONE 12×12 sheet of 2-sided October Afternoon paper- and this little design did that perfectly. I cut 4 strips of 2″, then cut them in 1/3s (4″)…..and the remaining strips were 1″ x 4″. No scrappies left over! Whee! 3 sheets of the red cardstock cut into quarters also left no scraps. The Scrap Wrangler would be proud!
I layered the stickers on cream, since these patterns are far too busy for the lettering to show up; the patterns have to really be the right kind to work well with a sentiment directly on them.

Easypeasy, 12 birthday cards! And while I’m here talking birthday….I actually can use some now. You all did a great job of dialing back on birthday, but now I’m drowning in the general cards and need more of other themes to go with them.
Yeah, it’s a constant push-pull around here!

Great cards!
Love that you can
~use both sides of a paper in one card
~use up the whole sheet
~use one sheet of stickers
I will have to try this at card making party this weekend!!
Thank you Sandy and SRM Stickers!!! for making helping so easy
Great card Sandy! Isn’t it cool when you can figure out how to make cards and have no scraps?!

My husband just said last night that I have to make better use of my time by coming up with a formula to get more cards out – what a great idea. Thanks!
I really LOVE the idea of Stickers by the Dozen, and your instructions for “assembly line” construction are terrific. Thanks.
What is the green ribbon you used?
It’s called wrinkle ribbon – by May Arts. You can get it here: http://stampsimply.com/shop/catalog/arts-wrinkled-ribbon-yard-bundle-p-906.html
Great! Thanks Sandy! I just love the look of it!
