Grateful Eagles
These cards went out recently to some corporate partners….some very generous CEOs have been getting thank-yous when their companies did matching gifts (many match volunteer hours…and we KNOW how many hours you all spend makin’ cards!). I figure letting CEOs know what they’re doing might encourage them to continue with programs like that!

My company is one of those that does both matching of donations and gives money to organizations when their employees volunteer– we call it “Dollars for Doers.” My company donated $450 for the time I spent doing something I love- making cards. What a win win. So please check your company to see if they will do it also.

Like Renata, my employer also recognizes volunteer efforts by donating to our favorite non-profits. When Sandy offered to send one of these cards to our CEO, I jumped at the offer. As I told her, “Who wouldn’t love to get a card from Sandy?”
