For those, like me, who are hand-lettering challenged…try this out!
Faux Watercolor Hand Lettering
I picked up some fabulous Winnie and Walter sentiment sets – and I had planned on just using them with my regular inks. But as I was playing with watercoloring the birds using markers…I started playing with the markers on teh stamps too. At first I was bummed that I got such a beaded-up image with different markers. Then – the AHA moment! Watch the video below or click HERE to see it in HD on YouTube.
NOTE: If you try this technique, your stamps may stain; this won’t make them unusable, or transfer to other inks (do wipe them down after use though). They’ll just have a little color on them.
I was going to put the image panel on the outside, but one of my dies was sitting nearby my workspace – so I decided to create a little peekaboo.
The sympathy card sports some of the new sequins I picked up last week – love that they’re in a tin. Most of mine are in baggies and I’m drowning in them! lol.
