Epic love of Hero Arts!

I’ve been a fangirl of Hero Arts for a long time…and ever since they deepened our partnership with OWH, it’s as if I fall in love all over again! This week the OWH blog AND the Hero Arts blog (can you say w00t!!!) are featuring the 3 new sets of stamps…ohmyGOSH am I stoked!  You can check it all out on their blog TOMORROW – might wanna go subscribe today so it comes right to your inbox!

Today’s sketch on the S&S blog is one with all the samples using the new sets – go see! Here’s mine:

This one uses the Epic Love set – and for some reason the sketch kicked my butt when I kept trying it! So I moved things around, since I was braincramping :) I started off thinking of the “What on earth did I do before you” sentiment – so I created an earth for the jet to fly over. Then…well the Epic Love just worked out better after all that. I think it still works!

To make the little heart, I stamped the sentiment on the back of the red paper and trimmed it out. The ‘treeline’ is simply made with pinking shears! And if you haven’t shopped for the new Hero Arts sets – what the heck are ya waiting for? Oh yeah. For all the samples all week on the OWH blog! wahoo!!!

  1. oooh, I love how you used the black to “break up” the sky and have bolder blue in the middle, lighter blue on the sides! Neat idea! also, the twine for the banner flying behind the plane is stellar! great job!

  2. Have this set and LOVE it. Very versatile.

  3. The sections on your sky are such a wonderful idea. Would love to see a video on it (hint, hint). Also, kinda glad that you said the sketch kicked your butt in the beginning – almost all the sketches kick my butt :-)

  4. Can’t wait to see all of these…. Great idea to have the plane tow the sentiment banner with twine!!
