For something a little different – today I show you how I made some DIY Card Sketches – and Crazy Antics Anteater Cards! The fun anteater stamp set from AI inspired me to create them as masculine ones too – the colors and humor really lent to that. (Links in the supply list at the end of this post.)

Sketch 1
Most of the sentiments are birthdayish….and a couple of the images didn’t have ants already IN them so I added them to the background panels to create my own designer paper!
Sketch 2
For this one, I used a bunch of scrap strips behind the circle – and the sentiment cracks me UP! That little ant on his nose is just hilarious! Note that the scalloped circle die is from Lawn Fawn but it’s old – they have ones now that I just added to my cart with stitching; I’m not sure I like how frilly the scallop feels here.
Sketch 3
This little happy guy is doing a big old dance to try to reach the ants in the border, I think – lol!
Sketch Challenge!
Use one of the sketches I created on a card – it can be any stamps, any theme, whatever you’d like. You can even use actual patterned paper! LOL!! This is what I like about your videos – I never know what’s next! These guys are way funny – what would we do without A.I.?! Great ideas on sketches too – I’ve kind of gotten away from that style, since I’ve started using Copics and watercolors… But it might be just the thing to kick my Christmas card making into high gear – thank you!
