It’s kinda not funny when a stamp set makes you out yourself as a lover of finely spun sugar, but there ya go. You know my secret! I recently saw Avery Elle’s Cotton Candy stamps and dies – and indulged my secret love.

I especially encourage YOU to get yourself some Avery Elle….remember when I told you about some companies undergoing rough times recently? Avery Elle is another target – so do a good deed and go shop directly on their site, and leave some positive love in the comments section on your order! Buying direct at full price once in a while is one way you can help keep our industry thriving! (The links to AE supplies in the list at the bottom of this post are affiliate links – if you want to purchase directly from AE, please do. I’d rather they get the support!)

Note: Supplies are linked in the supply list at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links may be used  – that means if you make a purchase using my links, I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thank you for your support of my work on this blog!  Read more.

Shaker card – with some EbyE (Essentials by Ellen) embellishments – Crystal Clear Hearts and Butterfly Sequin mix.

This background looks a lot like colored cotton candy! Squirt some colorless blender on Neenah and drop some reinkers on, and then let it flow around as it dries.

More of a traditional alcohol-ink-looking background but with Copic refills. This is on photo paper, and if you get grumpy when things like this sometimes stay sticky, the acetate overtop makes that no problem at all!

Texture from crumpled tissue paper is smoothed out a little under vellum!

And last but not least – fluffy cotton balls!

I added liners to each card with the sentiment on it – coordinating the inside colors with what was on the cover.
