Happy Sunday! Hope you’ve been having a great weekend so far. Mine’s been productive, if nothing else – even if I’m not out partying, you know me – I feel good if I check things off my to-do list! Though I’ll get to have some playtime today – we’re trying daytime bingo, so if you see me yelling BINGO on Facebook and Twitter, you’ll know that was a successful venture too! lol!
I’d like to share a snippet of a project I started at work last week. I can’t share what it’s for, but – it’s not a drawing to print, alas. I’m illustrating some concepts that will be part of a presentation. I’ve got over 20 of these to get done this week, so I’m going to need to get quicker than my first ones! If this works out and the project gets produced, though, you better believe I’ll let you know and show you what it is! But it was a blast walking into the office with my giant bag of Copics on my shoulder – a few eyes popped out of their heads among my fellow graphic designers. One had taunted me about wearing a Copic shirt like some fangirl. He changed his mind when he saw my pens!

For a card today I have a SVCAS card intended to be sent to a little boy…using an image from Robert Jackson….hopefully for a dad to send home to his lil fishing buddy!

Copics here: the hair is Black, C7 and C5. Clothing R59 R29 Y35 YR23 B97 B99. Scene B21 YG03 G000. Skin: E59 E15 E33.
Note that the Robert Jackson link below just takes you to his site; the way it’s set up you can’t link to a single stamp so you’ll have to look around. This one is called Lil Fisherman and is in the LilFolks category.

This is so sweet. And your use of Copic markers just amazes me. I have several and every time you post a card using yours, I get energized again. I was coloring yesterday for cards using mine. Ahhh, OWH is both addiction and therapy!
I see you have what looks like Washi on some of your Copics. Is that to mark which end is which or to mark them as yours?
how did you do the word BE – like the texture
Beautiful! and multi-tasking! awesome!
This is so precious! I love it .
