Happy Monday, eh? I need more of a weekend! Yeesh. I did get a lot done, but my to-do list ain’t to-finished yet. Phooey!
So…is this for a guy to send to his girl? Or vice versa? lol. The stamp and sentiment are from MFT, one of the fundraiser sets I bought. Not sure how much I’ll use this one though…we’ll see!

Just a note
It’s Friday, and I’m wondering if it was just me who had a nutty week? I was off sick one day, and the rest just got away from me in about every area it could. Yesterday, however, was quite the banner day. I had a couple amazing emails that just made me feel like so much that I’ve been going through is worth the hassle…and at the very end of the day, a work project that I was sure was going to tank in presentation came out the opposite. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t been in the meeting myself! And then we had the 100th episode of OWHtv – that was lotsa fun!
The card for today sports a Mo Manning image, Paul Typing – and it was kind of an accident. I was trying to put a light wash behind him, and goofed it, then it started looking like he was being lit by the laptop screen…so I tried going dark. Sooooo many layers of that warm grey, egads! It’s not very even, and if I’d wanted that effect there are a ton of ways to get it without the pain I did. But oh well. I love the design that came out sooooo clean and masculine.

Bunny love
Hey gang – tonight is the 100th episode of OWHtv…be sure to tune in! I have 100 things to give away!!!!
It just occurred to me it’s kinda been SRM Sticker week around here. LOL. I guess I get on a kick with something and just keep going…I just love the bold simplicity of their stickers
And I colored up an MFT bunny….not sure what I was thinking with his electric ears, but I do like how the heart came out! (That’s an XOXO sticker on it.) Oh yeah and this is yet more paper from the same yummy MME stack from all week. Maybe I’ll eventually use it up! And why is it I can never tell that my brads are misaligned til the photo gets taken? Agh. Fortunately I can go redo it before putting it in the OWH box

This lil guy makes me wanna play aiiiiirrrrrr guitarrrrrrrr!!!! And yes, I do that a lot…especially in my new room. I love standing to craft so I can dance while I do!
Paper pad’s the same one from MME as the last couple days – lol – I’ll still be working on one pad for like a month, I think….ha! But I love this tone-on-tone background pattern…it makes the SRM sticker just pop, without even a layer!

Sparkle Creations: Daffodil Charlotte
My daffies never came up this year….I think they’re kaput! But….instead I colored Daffodil Charlotte for this card; she’s from Sparkle Creations! My fellow stampers all have a different character from Sparkle that they love – I really like Charlotte a lot – she’s sweet! Just for OWHers who love spring cards…you can use daffodils, just don’t make the cards say “Happy Spring!” on them. It might only be starting spring where you live, but we’re getting a ton of late spring cards that have to wait til next year; our heroes are ready for summer
The card’s a pretty simple design with some MME paper (who’d a thunk it! I think I am just in love with everything they make!)…an SRM sticker for the sentiment, and a little bling that my friend Kelly gifted to me!
’tis Monday…goin’ out of the box!
I figured since Nancy featured the Out of the Box tutorial last week, maybe I’d actually post a card for it before the next tutorial goes up – ha! I’m usually months behind on joining in on them, but I’m attempting to be better about that!
I used a sweet stamp called Silver Fairy from WeeStamps - she’s so cute! I paired her with some papers from MME’s Sunny Side collection (YUM)…a little May Arts chevron ribbon, an SRM sentiment…done! I love how she came out looking like she’s chatting with the little birdie in the Basic Grey brad 
To go outside the box, I put the paper into my trimmer and cut *almost* to the wing sticking out. Then cut the other direction the same. The last bit was carefully cut by hand. I coulda used a die, yes, but I was at a friend’s and decided I’d just go the old-fashioned route!

Gooooooood Sunday morning to you! I hope your weekend’s progressing nicely! I was blessed to be able to take part of yesterday off and go play with my stampin’ sistahs….I love that! I thought I’d have to get back home early, but I stayed up late Friday to get to a good stopping point on some projects – so I gave myself a day to play. (Had to get back on it last night, but at least I had some playtime!!
This is a card I made last week for a sweet lady who worked at my office; they eliminated her position (dangit!!!), and I just wanted to thank her for everything she’s done. And get this – she loved doing her job so much she’s requesting to volunteer at the office for a day each week instead. Can you believe that!?! Talk about dedication. Love you KH!
I used a Hero Arts fox for this card…I can’t seem to find it in their store, but look for E5465 if this is a little fox ya just need to have! Papers by BoBunny, sentiment by SRM stickers, border punch by Fiskars.
VCMP You make me smile
Today’s card is for the kids challenge over at Paula’s blog! I used sketch #134 for mine, and a cute image from Whipper Snapper Designs.
I fussycut the image, but since it was going onto some really busy papers, I decided to leave a little white around it to help it pop…otherwise it might have gotten visually lost. No lost dinos, please!

With so many of our service members being guys – I know this card is gonna be a hit.
I’m not a big fan of the “Who’s that guy/gal” series from MFT, but this one doesn’t bother me one bit for some reason – I think it’s possibly the grilled burgers! LOL! The stamp set comes with burger stamps and hot dogs too, but I decided to make my own out of pearl pen! The layout is from one of the sketches Nancy posted in her VCMP challenge to use a scrappy sketch for a card. I love that idea – scrappy sketches have lots more little bits to them! This also works for JoAnn’s summer challenge too!
