Today I have something completely different. Well, at least for moi! I got a fun pack of Imaginisce diecuts in a treatbox from May Arts Partners in Craft….and these are crazyfun! This Santa was way too big for a card – the actual die includes his legs and feet, so I had to get over the squeals when I chopped his body in half….but once I cleaned up the mess, he was very very happy with his new surroundings on this card

The ribbon (May Arts satin with grosgrain edge) treatment is uber-simple; I wrapped one piece all around, then folded the small piece and attached it with a brad.

Check the OWH Facebook page later this week to see another….the reindeer!
(ETA: This post was scheduled for that day, but, yeah, crazy typist put in the wrong date here…lol.)

Maybe you could put his feet and legs coming out of a chimney or descending into a fireplace? Cute card.
This is an awesome suggestion! Genius.
I love this card! I guess I can’t picture just using a piece of a die cut like this because I have a hard time cutting the legs off someone too! LOL. I have to see things differently like you….still working on it.
Love the brad in the folded ribbon idea!
Adorable! Hope you kept the legs, they would make a cute card with his long naughty & nice list curling around his feet!
Wonderful as always. Looking forward to your video for the Holiday cards class!!!

I can’t get the link to work. Would you mind posting it again? Great card, btw.
I think worn sweatshirts are the best to craft in – because who cares if you get a little ink or glue on it? LOL – Looking forward to your Copic lesson in the Holiday Card Workshop, I’m all signed up!
